International Anti-Corruption Day 2017

      

Corruption is considered as a serious crime that can undermine social and economic development in all societies as there is no country, region or community is immune to this crime.

The global campaign “Corruption” focuses on how corruption affects education, health, justice, democracy, prosperity and development.

 

On Sunday December the 10th  2017 Jeel Yanbu International school has celebrated the International Anti-Corruption Day for two hours during the activity period of the day.

The activity started with the national anthem and Qur’an.  Then the students present the meaning of corruption in short brief.

After that in short lines the students introduced the risks of corruption and its forms in different sectors.

A short play was performed by grade 7 students representing corruption in finance sector (job interview of bank) then a poem was recited about corruption and to encourage integrity. Following; student clarifies how to stop corruption in short lines.

A video was played to promote self-censorship and non-filming of others without official permission represented by students from first grade, followed by a song to encourage loyalty of the country.

 

At the end of the programme, teachers and students got recognised for their effective contribution in the programme by admin member.

Events on such topics should be conducted. Miss Mawadda did a great job..It was fun learning about it in an impressive way.
